Dr. Matthew Osepchook

Dentist
Dr. O and his wife, Larissa, love living in the West Kootenay region and enjoy outdoor recreation including snowboarding, hiking and exploring. The Osepchook family are active members at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Nelson. Dr. O has an immense passion for Jesus Christ and believes the purpose of his dental practice is to honor Him.

Dr. Karen Lee

Dentist

Her cheery disposition and gentle nature makes Dr. Lee a favourite with young children and others who may have been fearful of coming to the dentist in the past.

Dr. Lee received her undergraduate degree in Microbiology and Human Biology from the University of Guelph before going on to graduate from the University of Western Ontario’s School of Dentistry in 2002.  She was honoured to own her own dental practice for 10 years in Waterloo, Ontario before relocating to Nelson.
Dr. Lee has a passion for complex aesthetic and restorative dental cases with an emphasis on treatment of the worn dentition, dentures, pediatrics and cosmetic dentistry. Her knowledge and passion stem from numerous hours of continuing education courses she has taken, her involvement as an executive member of the Waterloo Wellington Dental Society and as an Ontario Dental Association councillor.  

Dr. Michael Marianovski

Dentist
Dr. Marianovski attended York University for his undergraduate and Master’s education. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) from the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Western Ontario.
Dr. Marianovski recently moved to Nelson from Invermere to pursue his outdoor passions of rock climbing, mountain biking and snowboarding.

Lana Healey

Certified Dental Assistant
Shortly after completing the OUC Certified Dental Assisting program in 1999, Lana moved to Nelson to start her career. She has been part of our team since 2011. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Lori Sookorukoff

Certified Dental Assistant
Lori has been a Certified Dental Assistant since 1991, and joined our team in 2013. When you bring your child in for their check up and cleaning, most likely, they will be seen by Lori. She does her best, to make your child’s appointment fun, and hopes that they leave smiling, from a positive experience at the Dentist.

Shelly Sapriken

REGISTERED Dental Hygienist
Shelly was born and raised in Nelson. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 2010 and has enjoyed working with Dr. Osepchook and his team since 2011. Shelly loves spending time outdoors exploring the Kootenays with her husband and two daughters.

Shelbi Anderson

REGISTERED Dental Hygienist
Shelbi is from Nelson, and earned her Dental Assisting Certificate and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene in Washington state. She enjoys getting to know her clients while providing preventive dental hygiene care. Shelbi and her family enjoy skiing, hiking, and being on the lake.

Katie Sapriken

REGISTERED Dental Hygienist
After completing her education at The Toronto College of Dental Hygiene in 2010, Katie moved back home to Nelson to begin her career. Katie strives to ensure all of her patients feel comfortable during their dental cleanings, especially if a little TLC is needed. She likes to help people feel confident smiling and empowered to maintain their oral health. Outside of the dental office Katie can be found hitting the slopes at Whitewater, sitting behind her sewing machine, or enjoying time with her family.

Marcie Meadows

Receptionist
Marcie graduated from Keewatin College in Manitoba from the Certified Dental Assisting program in 1992. After making her way west to Nelson she worked many years in various dental offices. After taking a 13 year break from dentistry she is back, and loving being a part of the Front Street dental team family. Marcie enjoys golf, curling, hiking and camping with her family and friends. She will always make your dental visit comfortable and fun!
